Life As We Know It

This was one of the most hilarious movies that I have seen in years. You would really enjoy it. This movie is rated PG-13. I would recommend it for 14 and up, because of all the sex talk. There is about 4 parts of sex talk and about 30 cusswords. There is no nudity, but Josh Duhamel does a big part on having affairs with other women. There is some beer use and meth use.

Holly and Eric start out on their fist date given to them from their two best friends Allison and Peter. Then everything goes wrong when Eric is late and then he gets a call from his sex partner. They don't go on the date. Allison has her first girl, Sophie, and Eric and Holly are always around their family. When Allison and Peter die in a car crash they leave Holly and Eric to raise Sophie together. I wonder if everything will go right for them or will it be a big, hilarious, mess?

How to Train a Dragon

Overall: Hiccup's home is always fighting dragons. Fighting dragons is everything around there. Hiccup wants to help fight them with the vikings but they will not let a small, weak, weapon making boy. Hiccup is constantly bugging his father about him wanting to fight a dragon, but his father refuses. They say the night fury is the most dangerous dragon of all. Until one night Hiccup hits one. The next day he travels alone into the forest searching for the night fury until he finds it tied in a rope. He then uncuts the rope and is thrown against a rock. The night fury tries to run away but cant fly. The next day he observes the night fury and sees that it is missing a back wing, and it can't fly. So hiccup decides to help by making a wing out of wood and it kind of works. Hiccups dad and his crew is leaving for a trip trying to find the nest and destroy it, and wants Hiccup to go to dragon training. So for a week Hiccup discovers the dragons weaknesses, training abilities to fly, and that everything they think about the dragons are wrong. When Hiccup's dad returns he is proud of Hiccup and when Hiccup sneaks off one night, Astrid (one of the good vikings) finds out about the kept away night fury (toothless). Then after a big fight she rides with Hiccup on the dragon and by accident they fly into the dragon nest, and find out that the dragons are like bees and feed sheep the their queen. Will Hiccup tell his father about the nest?, will he destroy the queen of dragons?, or will he fail?

There is some sexual content such as: Hiccup tells Astrid when she falls on him by accident,'' Love on the battlefield?'' Also Hiccup's dad gives him his mothers breast plate (hat). Hiccup and Astrid kiss a couple of times.
There is no bad language. Astrid says,'' Son of a troll, bucket."
Religion: Hiccup's father says, '' The devil still has some juice in it.'' Skulls are seen on clothes and houses. Hiccups father tells Hiccup,'' Vikings are supposed to crush rocks, level mountains, tame seas.'' Hiccup says angrily,'' I think the gods hate me.''
Other: One viking hits another with a shield and says,'' now this has blood on it.'' There are some scary images for young kids.

Alice in Wonderland

Overall: Alice is now an adult that keeps having visions of falling into a deep hole after finding a mysterious rabbit. Now when the lord of England wants to marry Alice, she is surrounded by distractions, like her mother wanting to marry him, her sister wanting to rule over her life, everyone telling Alice what to do with her life, and many more examples. Then the day of the marriage she finds herself following the mysterious rabbit and falling into the big, black, deep hole. She finally arrives in Wonderland, but every living creature says she is the wrong Alice. So she is taken to the Mad Hatter by Cheshire the Cat. He says he remembers her, and tells every that the prophecy (the one where Alice must slay the Jabberwocky and save the kingdom from the Red Queen) is true and that the real Alice is her. Then the Mad Hatter and his friends get captured and brought to the Red Queen. Will Alice be able to face the Red Queen, the Red Knight, the Bandersnitch, save her friends, slay the Jabberwocky, and get the Mad Hatters friends to believe that she is the true Alice.

        There is some Sexual content. Alice tell the lord of England that she had a vision of the men wearing dresses and the women wearing suites. She also tells her cousins (girls) that she knew that they swam naked in the pond. Noah (the lords brother) is found by Alice kissing all over Patty (his so long friend), after he is already married to Alice's sister. The rabbit tells Alice that he had been searching for her and before (trying to find Alice he sees the cousins swimming) and tells her that he had to see them take off their clothes and shake their things (breasts), and he had to revert his eyes. The Mad Hatter calls Alice a boy. Alice loses her clothes a few times but is always covered. The Red Queen complains and says, '' My sister (the white queen) can make anyone fall in love with her, men, women, furniture.'' The Red Knight tells Alice, '' I like you Umm (Alice's fake name), I like your largeness. He also tells the knights to arrest her for her awful seduction.
        There is no bad language. Alice's Aunt calls the children imbeciles. After the Mad Hatter tells the Red Queen,'' I'm looking for an M word, moron, mad, mufficient,'' and the Red Queen replies, '' Well now were looking for an A word.
        There is no drug use. Absolume the blue caterpillar (the prophecy teller) smokes.
        There is some violent content. The Bandersnatch scratched Alice in the arm and red blood marks are shown. Mad Hatter sings,'' Down with the bloody big head, the big head of the Red Queen.'' Cheshire the cat says,'' all this talk of blood and slaying is getting me off this tea.'' Alice has to cross a river full of dead heads to get to the Red Queen's castle. The Red Knight tried to kill the Red Queen, and fails. Also he begs the White Queen to kill him.
        Religion: The Mad Hatter turns evil when he get horribly mad. Absolume is the worm that says he knows everything. Cheshire the cat can turn invisible, fly, and can disappear into thin air. The executioner at the Red Queen's castle is dressed in a ghost costume.
        Other: Cheshire the cat says,'' I've never liked being involved with politics. Tweedle Dee and Tweedle Dum tells Alice she drank the piss alva to shrink and get through the small door. The White Queen puts urine from the roserine and buttered fingers into a potion to make Alice normal size. There are some scary images for little children.

Justice League: Crisis of Two Earths

Overall: The Justice League is back to save the world. When Luther's twin (LEX), wants to save his planet from the EVIL League, he asks the Justice League for help. They agree to help, but the Evil League gets in their way. Will they be able to stop them and save Lex's planet from total destruction?

There is cartoon blood and violence.
There is some bad language, and God's name is sad in vain.
One day when some of the Justice League walk in to their ship, they see Lev naked in a chair, and Flash says,'' Whoa, and I thought they called me the flash,'' and Lex replies with,'' What, I'm not armed.'' Also, there is a girl with partial clothing covering her breasts. No nudity.

I do not recommend this movie for younger kids.

The Lightning Thief

Overall: Percy Jackson is living with his mom (sally) and his stepdad who is constantly drinking. One day, while  at a museum, his substitute teacher Mrs. Dodds turn into a monster called a Fury and tries to kill him when thinking that he is the lightning thief. Later Percy finds out that his father was Poseidon and if he dosen't return Zeus' bolt by the son of sorcerous there will be a war. But he proclaims that he is not the lightning thief and that he will try to find him. While trying to return the bolt he must save his mom from Hades, face a Fury, Minotaur, Medusa, Hydra,  and Hades. Who is the lightning thief?

Grover calls Percy a beast. Percy's stepdad slaps Percy's mom's bottom. gods and non-gods are said to ''HOOK UP''. Grover (Percy's protector, and friend) joins a group of bikini-wearing girls by temptaion. Percy get invited to a girl party and says yes, but does not go because the arrival of Hades. In L.A., Grover gets tempted by a group of girls and always hangs around them. In Hell, Hades' (meaning Satan) wife seduces Grover. Nude statues are seen partially in a garden. Also they are seen in a L.A. casino being seduced by tons of girls and gambeling.
There is some bad language and name calling.
There is some alcohol use but no cigarette use.
Religion: The movie is based on the Greek mythology that there are many gods, goddesses, and in between, and that they are real. Mythological creatures are seen throughout the movie. Also Medusa turns people into statues. Louis tells them that there is a way to get to the underworld. They travel to Hell to get Percy's mom back from Hades. Also they have powers.
There is lots of scary images that little ones shouldn't see.

Overall: Lexie Winston is a skater trying to find her dream of becoming a pro. Coming in second place in her first championship, a coach (Eden) wants to help her meet her dream. She finally makes it to her last championship when facing the troubles of press, fame, losing her boyfriend (Nick), her dream, and her sight. Now blind after a concussion and not hopeful, will she be able to skate again?

Lexie and Nick kiss a few times, and twice Lexie and Eden kiss even though she has a boyfriend. Lexie is seen on a table with a towel draped over her and getting sprayed by water. Before a championship, Lexie asks Eden if she looks bad, and Eden replies,'' No, not at all, beautiful.'' A gothic girl is seen wearing all black and pearcings and tattoos. Lexie and Nick get in a fight on the computers web-cam and Nick says,'' Maybe we should take a break.'' While at a party, Lexie asks Eden if they could go somewhere, just them.
God's name is used in vain once.
Religion: Lexie, near a church, walks on some of the graves.

The Cove

Overall: This is a documentary film by the Oceanic Preservation Society and is narrated by Rick O'Berry and is based on true events on the killing of dolphins in Taiji Japan. The japanese are killing many dolphins around he lagoon of Taiji, and does not want any people taking photos or films, and will hurt people if necessary. The IWC ( International Whaling Commission ) does not care about the dolphins, and Rick and his group are trying to figure out how to stop them from slaughtering the dolphins by the thousands and selling the meat. Will they stop them?

There is lots of violent content in this movie. There is speaking of murder, and dolphins causing suicides. Also there is slaughtering dolphins, selling dolphins, and eating dolphins. You could see lots of dolphin and fish blood. A girl says,'' You could see the blood from the dolphins in the lagoon and the babies were being slaughtered.''
There are strikes to save the whales from being killed. Also there is speaking of Rick going to jail lots of times for interuppting the japanese and there slaughtering.
There is some language. A guy says,'' This is propaganda that dolphin meat is being given as school lunches. Also another guy says,'' Neon colored horror houses for the japanese.'' A japanese guy gives Rick the finger.
There is some cigarette use.
Religion: There is a Buddha statue shown in one scene. A sign says pray for the departed souls of the whales.

The Penguins of Madagascar: Operation Penguin

 Overall: The penguins of Madagascar are back with their new movie. The penguins are secret agents trying to save the world from evil. Showing in their favorite agent episodes are them saving the world, fighting evil, facing bad guys with their worst bad guy yet, Doc Blowhole ( an evil dolphin ), and blowing up stuff. Can they protect the world from evil?

The penguins say,'' Shaking butts, aggitaiton, scratch relationship, reaching critical takeoff,'' and they liftoff with soda pop. Julian tells Doc Blowhole,'' I have a proposal for you, not the marriage kind, but the other kind.'' An elephant almosts sits on the penguins and they respond by saying,'' Watch where you put that thing!'' The penguins say,'' Tail wagging leaves them wanting more,'' while shaking their butts. A slide show of their vacation shows one of the penguins having a bikini bottom on him. There is some disgusting scenes of farting, burping, and blowing noses evily.
One of the penguins say,'' Curse you Blowhole.'' There is some name calling.
Religion:  Blowhole says,'' with this evil mutant lobster ( cromeclaw ) by my side I will rule land and sea. Julian thinks he is king.

Overall: John Crowley and his wife Aileen have three kids, with two of them having the pompe disease ( Megan and Patrick ), which they can't even throw a piece of bread to the ducks. Pompe can not be treated because there's just not a medicine out there that they have discovered yet.While waiting for his kids to die slowly, he finds a professor ( Bob) that thinks he can save John's kid's lives. But, John has to raise $1,000,000 for the experiment. While trying to save his kids, John must face troubles under the pressure of doctors saying,'' just spend more time with your kids, because they're going to die.'', his work, his family, Bob, and his greedy scientists. Will he save his kids lives?

John and Aileen kiss a couple of times. After John spends the night working to save his kids, he gets awoken by his wife and he says,'' I'm in my work clothes, so uncomfortable,'' and his wife replies,'' I'll help you get them off.'' Then the next scene ( after the nurse walks in ) shows them kissing on the couch.

There is some use of alcohol, and a scene at a bar where Bob explains to John how he's figuring out how to treat the disease.

There is lot's of bad language ( not as much as some of those films out there ), mostly when Bob gets mad.

Amelia

Overall: This is based on a true story of Amelia Earhart. The first woman to fly a plane. She first must make her way over the Atlantic ocean as passenger, then she makes a group called the 99's for the women fliers. Next, she wants to travel over the Atlantic ocean solo, facing the terrible dangers. Then finally, she risks it all for her last flight to circumnavigate the world. This is a dedication to Amelia Earhart when she died of the crash you all know of on June 2, 1937.

George ( Mr. Putnum ) tells Amelia that she has to be sexually attractive for the crowd. George and Amelia kiss a couple of times. Amelia wears a bathrobe that shows only the shoulders( she acts as if it was a dress ). George asks Amelia to marry him and later they get married. Gene Vidal and Amelia kiss even when she is married to George. Gene's son asks Amelia if she could marry George and Gene, but she ignores him. Fred ( her passenger while circumnavigating the globe) asks Amelia,'' Are you sizing me?''.
There is some bad language, and God's name is used in vain once.
There is use of cigarettes and Amelia signs a contract with a cigarette company.
Religion: Amelia tells George,'' Pray I make it.'' When George responds with,'' Not much of a prayer mam,'' Amelia replies with,'' Well, at least tip your hat and cross your fingers.''

Hachiko: A Dog's Story

Overall: This is based on a true story. Hachiko( also called Hachi ) is a Japanese husky that is on its way to some family when he accidentally gets out of his cage. Wilson finds him on the street and takes Hachi home. But his wife doesn't want him. But after Wilson, his daughter, and the town make a relationship with Hachi she finally lets them keep the dog. Wilson has to ride a train to go to his dance work and Hachi sits at the train station untill he gets back. He sits at the train station every day waiting on Wilson to come back home. Untill one day Wilson doesn't come back home. What will Hachi do? See what happens. This is an EXCELLENT family movie.

Wilson and his wife kiss a couple times. Also when Wilson gets back from picking Hachi up for the first time, his wife says,'' I have a surprise for you,'' and they go up stairs and into the bedroom.Wilson tells his wife one night to get undressed, the camera shows candles around the bathtub, and they close the door. After Wilson and Hachi get skunked they get a bath together and it shows Wilsons back, arms, and part of his legs. Also Wilson's daughter tells her parents that she was pregnant( after her and her boyfriend got married).   NO nudity.
There is one scene where Wilson and his daughter's boyfriend drink some alcohol.
God's and Jesus' name is used in vain once each.

Quantum Apocalypse

Overall: A meteor is coming to hit mars, and will cause a wormhole that causes the Earth's mass to change, disasters, and time suction. A family (and a girlfriend) must fight through these many disasters to protect their family, escape the dangers, and save the Earth from its end.

There is some language. Also there is some religious things with the end of the world.
There is some global disasters and speaking of deaths. Some killing is involved with guns.
There is a trial of raping but he gets shot down by a police.There is some smoking, heart medication use, and alcohol use.

Wolverine and the x-men: fate of the future

Planet Hulk

Overall: The cartoon hulk is back again, but after his Earth friends turn away from him, he is sent to another planet. Now he is captured by the ruling king and has to face many dangers, that include collesium battles, aliens, monsters, kings, robots, and infection bugs. Will he be able to fight them all?

There is many killing sequences, cartoon violence, and cartoon blood. Also many scary sequences.
There is some speaking of spiritual prophecies, gods, kings, spirits, and afterlife.
I think it should be more of a teen movie than a kid movie.

Overall: Anna believes she is in control of everything. When she thinks her boyfriend(Jeremy) is going to propose to her, she finds out she gets earings. Jeremy has to go to work in Doublin, and Anna wants to propose. Her father told her that in Doublin, every Leap Year a woman can propose to a man. So Anna is going to find  Jeremy in Doublin. But everything doesn't work out as planned. Her airplane has to land in Wales because of bad weather. She then finds a bed and breakfast at a local town, also where she finds her taxi driver, Declan. They are going through problems with them, cars, cows, and everything in between. Jeremy and Anna get engaged but Declan loves Anna. Now she has to choose one of them. Which one will it be?

There is sexual content. Anna is at a bar, and a drunk guy scoots toward her, and takes her hand, and ask her if she will marry him. But Anna tells him that she is already engaged. Anna and Jeremy kiss. Anna's dad says,'' Ooh, i'm finally going to have some grandkids. Anna is getting dressed ( she has on a bra and panties) and Declan walks in when she covers up. Some gangsters take Anna's suitcase, and she later finds them in a bar holding up her bra and panties. Declan hits on Anna on top of a castle tower. You can see Anna's shadow in the shower curtain. A couple french kiss. Declan and Anna kiss. Anna ( drunk ) calls Declan a beast. There is NO nudity.
There is some bad language and some name calling.
There is some alcohol use. Anna is at a bar and buys a beer with her dad. In a bar Declan fights the gangsters when they get close to Anna, and gets kicked out.
There is a bunch of talking about superstition. During a hail storm, Declan and Anna walk into a church that is having a wedding and Declan says,'' Jesus Christ.'' When Anna finishes with,'' Is Lord."

The Tooth Fairy

Overall: Derek Thompson is the tooth fairy, or thats what his hockey fans call him. When Thompson tells everyone to lower their expectations, they don't like him anymore. He ruins people's imagination. Then Thompson gets summond to serve as a tooth fairy for a week. He runs this with his awesome shrinking paste, invisibility spray, amnesia dust, and cat-away. But he starts doing his job wrong and has to learn how to make people BELIEVE. He also has to get his girlfriend's trust back and earn his girlfriend's kids respect.

There is some sexuality. Thompson and his girlfriend kiss. Thompson talks to his girlfriend's son about puberty. Steve ( the fairy manager ) says, '' Let's celebrate, I know where all the hot godmothers live. A tooth fairy dealer comes to a house with Thompson and opens a package full of sprays and Thompson says, '' What's that?'' and the fairy says, '' Goods, stuff, package, big bang, bomb, juice, friscospecial, laddy, rubberboy. Also the tooth faires want to keep you hanging forever like credit card debt.'' Also Thompson goes to jail and tells his girlfriend that he trouble he is getting into is because he is afraid of getting serious with her. Also he tells her, '' Your a woman, and frankly you wouldn't understand.'' But he sprays her with amnesia dust a couple of times.
There is no bad language. But Thompson looks at his phone and says BULL- and his girlfriend honks the car horn. In the flying room a tooth fairy calls Steve a homey.
Religion: Steve says, '' Fairy evolution is that some faries can grow wings and some can't.

Spongebob Squarepants: Viking Sized Adventures

 Overall: Spongebob Squarepants is back with even more trouble than usuall. He has to get out of school, face many enemies, work at the Krusty Krab, but worst of all, Vikings. Join Spongebob in his new adventures.

The Spy Next Door

Overall: Next door neighbor Bob Ho, is a secret agent spy that works for the CIA. But that's not the worst of it all. He has a girfriend he is planning to marry, and when her father dies and she has to go out of town, Bob has to babysit his girlfriend's children. While doing this, he has to encounter with russian spies, make breakfast, take the kids to school, and earn the kid's respect.

There is some sexual content like the 10 year old boy bragging about how he watched hi-definition porn like he was actually at the play boy's New Years Eve Mansion. He also purposely hits on a girl, but Bob gets onto him. There is NO nudity.
There is no drug use.
There is no bad language but there is some name calling.

Sherlock Holmes

Overall:  An investigator Sherlock Holmes and his partner Watson engage in a battle to save all of England from Blackwood and his dark magic. Blackwood rises from the grave after being hung and threatens to destroy England. While this happens Holmes has to encounter villians and come up with many ideas of how to get out of trouble.

There is some bad language and drug use. There is some sexuallity, like Holmes on the bed with a pillow covering his private area, but no nudity.

Avatar

Overall:  A crippled marine is being dispatched to a moon planet called Pandora. He must control an avatar body and get the aboriginal Avatars to trust him, as he learns their ways, to get the mineral that's worth 20 million akelah. He must face creatures that want to eat him and is torn between following his orders and helping the Avatars which he feels like it's his home too.

There is lots of bad language and some smoking cigarettes.
It looks like the avatars show nudity but it is graphical to where the jewelry covers the parts. Also the marine (in the avatar stage) falls in love with an avatar and they kiss (saying they are mating).
There are some spiritual scenes about a tree of life and a spirit dance.

Alvin and the Chipmunks: The Squeakual

Overall:

The movie was absolutely funny. Alvin and the chipmunks are back, and because of an accident with Dave, the chipmunks have to live with Aunt Jackey. But another accident ended up Aunt Jackey in the hospital, so now they have to live with Dave's brother and they have to go to school. And with their many problems include bullying, girls, and Ian.

There is no bad language, drugs, or sexuallity/nudity.
There are some places of Dave's brother being bullied at school when he was little, and the chipmunks get bullied. Also Alvin says,'' Shake what your momma gave ya!''
